Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship Publishes Annual Report of Community Impact
The cumulative impact of the IECE reaches $846 million
The Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) has published its 2024 Impact Report and the data shows that the IECE continues to have a growing and impactful economic presence on the startup and growth of entrepreneurs in the region.
Among the findings is that in 2024, the IECE had a total net positive economic contribution of slightly more than $146 million when the total of loans, contracts and exports are combined.
“We report only the direct economic impact that has been achieved through our business assistance programs - it doesn't account for any multiplier effects, which often estimate such impact is increased ten-fold.” said Mike Stull, Director of IECE. "Our dedicated team of business professionals and experts continue to make an impact on entrepreneurship in the region."
In 2024, more than 15,000 people attended IECE trainings, events, and special programs. IECE assisted more than 3,851 businesses with business counseling services which lead to increase in sales surpassing $51 Million.
