Dr. Peiyi Jia
Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship
Joined the Entrepreneurship Team in 2022
Peiyi received her Ph.D. in Business Administration with an Entrepreneurship concentration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2022. She obtained her M.A. degree in Economics from Boston University and B.A. in Finance from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics.
Peiyi previously worked across different industries such as real estate, information technology, a consulting firm, and the public sector. She started working as a financial operation specialist at Lenovo in 2010. She joined Ernst & Young (China) Advisory Ltd. in 2011, responsible for corporate tax preparation, planning, and consulting for multinational companies. She also advised on the strategic plan for state-owned enterprises when she worked in the public sector in China. Peiyi’s diverse experiences ignite her research interest in business and entrepreneurship. She conducted research on various topics such as entrepreneurial financing, social entrepreneurship, international business, and corporate entrepreneurship.Most Admired Entrepreneur:
