Amy Van Schagen as an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Her research focuses on early childhood education (ECE) and development specifically improving the quality of learning experiences for young children. Dr. Van Schagen’s Fellows project involves identifying undergraduate child development courses that could integrate aspects of entrepreneurship and creating an upper level undergraduate course specifically for students who are interested in running their own early childhood program or who are interested in becoming administrators and directors of childcare programs.
