Each year, the fund, established with generous donations from the silent auction held at the Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards program, provides scholarships to selected undergraduate or MBA students enrolled (or planning to enroll) in the study of entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino.
The Spirit of the Entrepreneur Scholarship is currently seeking applicants for the 2010-11 program we anticipate between -10,000 in scholarships will be awarded to students that are majoring in entrepreneurship at the undergraduate or graduate level (last year's average scholarship award was ,500 per student). Applying for the scholarship is simple - all that is required is a one (1) page application and a one (1) page essay describing why an entrepreneurship education is important to you and how the scholarship will make a difference. This is not a need-based scholarship.
NOTE: AVAILABLE AGAIN IN 2010-11 - students that have an idea for creating a business in the transportation or logistics industry are eligible for an additional ,200 scholarship award from the Leonard Transportation Center at CSUSB. In your application essay, describe your interest in creating a transportation-related business and a brief description of the business concept and the market opportunity it represents.
APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2010-11 SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL 5:00 PM ON FRIDAY, MARCH 5, 2010!
